WESTERN SLOPE — Investigators with the Delta Police Department along with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are continuing their efforts to find 14-year-old Abigayle Sue Wietharn of Delta, and believe there are “suspicious circumstances” surrounding her disappearance.

Wietharn was originally reported as a possible runaway or missing teen and was last seen Sept. 1, at a residence at 205 Allison St. in Olathe. Abigayle is five-feet, three-inches tall and weights about 110 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The DPD issued a press release Thursday afternoon stating they believe Wietharn is in the company of William “Billy” Mundell, 17, of Olathe, who is also a reported runaway, and Julian Melchor-Zeferino, 13, of Olathe.

“They have no access to money and may be pan handling or begging for food and money,” the release states.

Abigayle was last seen wearing jeans and a t-shirt with black and pink DC shoes. A clothing description for the boys is unknown. It is unknown if they are in a vehicle at this point.

Authories were looking for a stolen 1995 green Pontiac Grand Am, but that vehicle was recovered in the Durango/Cortez area.

Zeferino-Mechor, 13, is a Hispanic male, five-feet, four-inches tall weighing roughly 130 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair and Mundell age 17, a white male is described as five-feet, nine-inches tall with brown eyes and short black hair weighing 135 pounds.
