This functional and fun class is taught by Michelle Kodis, who worked and trained extensively with Darin Fletcher of Integrative Movement Center. This brings together the best of her background in pilates, dance and FUN! Pilates and the barre are a match made in exercise heaven. Together they facilitate and expand the principles of true functional movement in an upbeat and supportive environment that focuses on the body’s intrinsic strength and capacity for dynamic, fluid, natural movement. Designed for all levels and typically accompanied by invigorating music, this class incorporates fundamental Pilates mat routines with barre exercises for a vigorous full-body workout designed to: · sculpt and lengthen muscles for a lean, streamlined silhouette · improve posture · develop deep core strength · safely enhance range of motion · promote overall endurance and fitness.
