BREAKING: Female Suspect Sought in Olathe Bank Robbery

OLATHE – The Olathe Police Department is working with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to track a female suspect in a bank robbery that took place at 3:30 on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 20 at the Bank of Colorado in Olathe. 

Chief Harlan of the Olathe Police Department described the suspect as a Hispanic female in her early 20s, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with dark straight hair. Her name has not yet been released.

The suspect allegedly passed a note to a bank teller demanding cash, and escaped with $844 from the teller’s drawer. A weapon was possibly involved in the incident. 

Law enforcement officials are working to develop more suspect information at this time, Harlan said.
