TELLURIDE – It’s time to don some big hair and polyester on Thursday, May 8 at the Palm Theatre for the Big Night, a dinner theatre fundraiser for the Telluride Middle/High School’s fall musical Hairspray. The evening features a four-course meal prepared by High Country Cooking and served by the performing arts students.  Throughout the meal guests will be entertained with a showcase of music and theatre from this past year including excerpts from the fall musical Bye, Bye Birdie, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Incredible Westward Movement.  Original work from the 7th and 8th grade theatre classes, music from the Middle School Choir and much more entertainment will keep guests captivated throughout the night. The evening concludes with the High School performance of Almost, Maine.

The Big Night is an exciting event to launch next year’s fall musical Hairspray. Guests are encouraged to wear big hair, polyester or any other Hairspray-themed costumes. Tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple and are on sale at the Telluride Intermediate School Office.
